How Fuahub handles the information businesses keep in it.

Each laundry business decides what it records about its customers: names, phone numbers, addresses, orders, payments and feedback. Under Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019, the business is the data controller for that information and Fuahub is its data processor: we store it and run the tools the business uses, and nothing else.

We keep each business's information separate from every other business. We do not sell it, and we do not use it to market to customers. Texts to customers go from the business's own phone, in the business's name, and every automatic text says how to stop them. A customer who replies STOP is not texted again.

About the business itself we keep the owner's and team's names, email addresses and phone numbers, the plan and its payments. Payments are made through Paystack; we never see or store card numbers or M-Pesa PINs.

A business can export its information and ask us to delete it. After a subscription ends, we keep the information for 60 days and then delete it. Customers who want to see, correct or delete what a business holds about them should ask that business first; we help the business answer.
